Meet the Artist

Welcome, my name is Katie McFarland. I am a furmom to a black and white Goldendoodle named Lincoln and his younger Westie brother named Remy. I started exploring digital art the summer of 2020 and immediately fell in love. What is digital art? Well, it comes in many forms. My art comes to life on my iPad with help from an Apple pencil and my imagination. My favorite feature is the ability to paint anytime, anyplace, with no clean up needed. 

Because of the nature of my art, it affords me the ability to offer a large collection of fun custom designed digital art. Katie Dreaming in Color is partnering with several print on demand services which allows me to share my art with you in many forms. I have canvas prints, t-shirts, pillows, leggings, the products are as limitless as the designs reflected.

I started Katie Dreaming in Color a few years ago by opening my first store on Etsy. I had amazing support from some people who fell in love with my work that I had been donating to rescue groups for their fundraising efforts. I took a break from my Etsy store, but have been inspired to create again.
